Guide to South Lake Union

Located northeast of downtown, the Lake Union and Eastlake neighborhoods are fastest growing areas and for good reason. The lakefront neighborhood mixes cutting edge technology companies with cool urban lofts, eclectic retail shops, great parks and open spaces, and a light rail system. The city's biotech industry is based here as is online retail giant Amazon. Good mass transit and pedestrian friendly streets mean these neighborhoods are easy get around in. All these high tech workers have to eat so you'll find plenty of eat. Check out Chandler's Crabhouse, Ivar's Salmon House, Re:public, and Ravish. More
