On Wednesday, June 4, 2008, the Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI) will host “Debuts & Discoveries,” the 6th annual wine tasting event featuring over 40 new wineries from the Northwest including Airfield Estates, Flying Trout, Hestia Cellars, Pondera, and Sleight of Hand. With the explosion of new wineries in the region, this event provides a terrific opportunity for wine lovers to taste recent releases and get an edge on who ranks among the best. The event will also feature chefs from some of Seattle’s newest restaurants, all in the setting of Seattle’s past, the Museum of History & Industry. The evening’s activities will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the end of Prohibition and help raise funds for MOHAI’s community outreach programs.
