My clinical experience is in working with individuals, couples, and families. I generally describe my treatment approach as systemic. This oftentimes translates to working with more than just the client. Change can happen a lot faster, and have a greater chance of becoming permanent if I can affect the environment as well. Relationship work frequently involves the participation of significant others…making it is easier to identify unhealthy patterns...promote effective communication…and restore good feelings. When working with children or adolescents, I often work with the family as a unit... helping parents to fine-tune their parenting skills.
